Auxiliary Split Air Conditioning and Heating Systems
Dometic auxiliary split truck air conditioning and heating systems are designed to cool or heat the living quarters without running the truck's diesel engine - saving fuel and preserving the environment. The systems run on 115VAC electricity, which is supplied by a shorepower connection or auxiliary power unit (APU). NOTES: The system is rated to provide full capacity at 95°F (35°C) outside temperature. Actual performance will be affected by factors such as ambient temperature and humidity, insulation, direct sunlight and reflected heat. *Electrical box is separate for all models except for this model where the electrical box is integral. **Power consumption at 120VAC. ***Other heating capacities available by special request. Espar Ready unit is set up to operate the Espar D2 Airtronic Heater. The heater draws approximately 2.8 amps @ 12VDC. 1 kw of electric heat equals 3,414 BTU/hr.
